Modules
What modules are, how feature tokens work, and the setup pattern shared by every one of them.

Modules are the built-in features you switch on inside Clarify — no outside account required. Collect ratings with Feedback, keep and deliver Transcripts, move tickets between teams with Escalation, put a name on every ticket with Assignment, or tell members when you are around with Opening hours. Each one is optional, and each one is off until you set it up.

Modules vs integrations

The difference is where the feature lives.

  • Modules are internal. Everything they do happens inside Clarify — you flip them on and fill in a few settings.
  • Integrations connect Clarify to an outside service — Stripe, PayPal, Tebex, Patreon, GitHub, or your own HTTPS endpoint through the Webhook integration. They need credentials, a sign-in, or a URL of yours before they work.
Looking to connect a payment provider, GitHub or a webhook instead? See the Integrations overview.

Feature tokens

Every active module uses one feature token. The Free plan comes with 5 tokens, Premium with 10; integrations are free. The balance is shown at the top of every module page. Turning a module off returns its token immediately and keeps its settings, so you can rotate features as your needs change.

When no token is left, the setup prompt says so and offers to manage your modules or upgrade your plan.

How setup works

Every module follows the same pattern, so once you have set up one you know them all.

A setup prompt

An unconfigured module shows a short card explaining what it does, what it costs (1 token) and a Start setup button. Nothing is running yet.

A short wizard

The button opens a step-by-step wizard that walks you through the settings a few at a time. Fill each step and finish; the module is active from that moment.

An inline editor

Once configured, the same settings appear as an editor on the module's page, with the relevant part of these docs alongside. Come back any time to change them — the module keeps working while you edit. The header offers an Active / Inactive switch and Reconfigure to run the wizard again from scratch.

The modules

Feedback

Ask customers to rate their ticket in Discord after it closes — stars, thumbs or emoji, with or without a comment.

Transcripts

Deliver the transcript link and an optional rating request on close, and keep a log of every closed ticket in a channel.

Escalation

Move a ticket to another support tier — same ticket, same customer, new team — with modes, budgets and arrival cards.

Assignment

Claiming, staff assignment, per-category auto-distribution and the markers that show who owns a ticket.

Opening hours

Per-category schedules with a notice, a warning or a hard stop for tickets opened outside your hours.

Where to go next

Integrations overview

Connect Stripe, PayPal, Tebex, Patreon, GitHub or a webhook to your tickets.

Data connectors

Pull in data from your own shop, CRM or API and show it right on the ticket — no code.
